Some pictures from John & Jenny’s beautiful wedding at Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL!

Girls.

Boys & Girls . . . under a big ol’ umbrella.

I love the way friends interact when they get together in large groups. Always a good time!

This picture sums up John & Jenny to me. It’s one of my favorites. They are both so chill and laid back. John LOVES to fish and kept looking out for what was in the water. It was the cutest thing.

Thanks to my second shooter Carla for going across the water to capture this excellent shot!

It was hot and humid and I think there was a bit of relief when formals were over. John & Jenny were such good sports with all the pictures we wanted to take!

What’s the definition of a good friend? One who is waiting for you on the side of the road with ice cold beers on the way to your wedding.

Jenny’s parents were excited to walk her down the aisle, don’t you think? ![]()

Moms . . . they’re the best.

The ceremony finished just as the sun was setting and we were able to spend a few extra minutes taking advantage of the gorgeous light!

I loved that they were able to have some alone time between the ceremony and reception watching the sun set. Well, I guess they weren’t really alone since I was there. I like to be a side-buster.

I couldn’t possibly post all the cute details from the wedding (unless you guys want to scroll for days) but here are a few. I loved how crafty it was!

Tissue flowers made from old sewing patterns.

First dance.

Speeches.

Father/daughter dance. <3

Mother/son dance. Gosh I love these moments.

Congrats J&J!!
I had such a great time coming out to Chicago to photograph your wedding. THANK YOU for sharing your day with me. Have an excellent time on your honeymoon to Italy! ![]()

Christine! I LOVE all the shots…they totally captured the feel of the whole day – can’t wait to see all the pictures. Thanks again to you and Carla for being so awesome!!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
